Gazprom and Bulgaria Implementing South Stream According to Schedule

The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Delyan Dobrev, Bulgarian Economy, Energy and Tourism Minister.

The meeting addressed the current status of the Russian-Bulgarian cooperation in the energy sector. The focus was placed on the South Stream project implementation.

The meeting participants underlined that the project was being implemented within the preset deadlines. In addition, the parties noted the successful results of a tender procedure selecting the contractor for carrying out the spatial planning, environmental impact assessment and project documents preparation for the Bulgarian section of the South Stream gas pipeline.
