PPG enjoyed considerable success at Neftegaz 2010

PPG enjoyed considerable success at Neftegaz 2010, Russia’s leading global oil and gas industry exhibition, which took place on June 21-25, 2010 at Expocentre, Moscow.

Neftegaz is Russia’s leading event and presents a unique opportunity for leading European, Asian and American manufacturers to showcase their oil and gas production and processing equipment, and to establish direct trade relations.

We already have an established presence in Russia, with two well-respected distributors: Technokraska for our Amercoat brand, and Farba Tech for the Sigma Coatings brand. These two distributors promote our products throughout Russia for the protective coatings sector and have succeeded in successfully developing the market for PPG. Each specializes with their brand, and at this event worked very well together as a team to form a strong, unified PPG image.

Our appearance at Neftegaz will further raise the awareness of our market-leading products that are proven to perform in the most extreme environments for a range of key market sectors.

PPG is actively developing its profile in the Russian market, which presents great potential, and we had an extremely positive response to our protective coating solutions, with existing customers and many new companies visiting our booth. This has led to numerous enquiries and the prospects look very encouraging.

We are also pleased to announce that PPG won the ‘Best Booth Design’ at the exhibition. As Neftegaz attracted some of the world’s major companies with around 700 booths, many with much larger budgets and booth sizes, this is a tremendous accolade.

To further cement good relationships, we staged a customer party on Wednesday, which was enjoyed by all who attended. Special thanks go to everyone who was involved in the development of the booth and also in the management of this important event for their outstanding effort and contribution.
