Marine – PGS marine business in CIS is represented by joint-venture company PGS-Khazar (Gelendzhik, Russia), which carries out most challenging projects on the Caspian, Black and Azov seas. In addition we operate a joint-venture with DMNG (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia) in Eastern Russia.
Data Processing and Interpretation – PGS operates two modern integrated centers for Data Processing and complex Interpretation of marine and onshore seismic data. These facilities are located in Moscow, Russia and Almaty, Kazakhstan.

PGS Khazar (Joint-Venture in Russia):
The leader in shallow water and transition zone seismic acquisition in the Caspian region. Purpose-built fleet, accounting 9 vessels. The company’s strategy is to increase number of vessels upto 16 vessels. This also includes bringing a vessel for Deep-Water 3D operations into the Caspian.
Company specializes in providing 2D and 3D operations conducted with towed streamer and bottom cables. The areas of operational experience: Caspian, Azov and Black seas.
Company also possesses library of Multi-Client data in the northern Caspian.
